Surgical Services Manager – Western Oregon

Beautiful rural area with metro access, 50 bed acute care nonprofit hospital, 4 operating suites, 3000 annual cases (2/3 IP-1/3 OP), 23 FTEs, reports to CNO.

Great leadership opportunity to take responsibility for management of Operating Room, Short Stay, PACU, Endoscopy, Central Sterile and an off-site GI lab. Staff includes 3 clerical, 15 techs, 29 RNs. There are two Assistant Managers that oversee the PACU and Central Service.  Case mix is heavy to ortho but includes general surgery, endo, gynecology, urology, and eye.

BSN or Master degree preferred; ADN with exceptional surgical background may be considered but must obtain BSN within three years.  Minimum of five years OR clinical experience including scrub and circulate experience: three years of surgical services management experience; demonstrated excellence in managing a team and leading efforts collaboratively
