Pediatric Outpatient Clinic and Care Coordination Manager

Portland-area, world-renown Children’s hospital is seeking a manager for its Outpatient Clinic/Care Coordination department. This is a full time (1.0 FTE) position.

This manager is responsible for the development and management of staff and processes to support the coordination of quality, family-centered care within the outpatient setting and across the continuum.

Manager will oversee a staff of approximately 30, mostly RNs, and will work closely with physicians and other clinicians.

Qualificaitons:

Excellent leadership behaviors and strong business management, problem solving and organizational skills.

Process improvement skills

A minimum of 5 years clinical experience in pediatrics (pediatric orthopedics and/or rehabilitation preferred).

At least 2 years clinical experience in an outpatient or care coordination setting.

A minimum of 2 years managing an outpatient and/or care coordination department.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing required, Master Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.

Must have current Oregon RN license, CPR and PALS Certification.

This hospital is a member of a national system of 22 pediatric specialty care hospitals with a sterling 90 year history in the Portland area.
